Concise Nursing is an Israeli bootstrap SaaS startup, small but growing fast. We are dedicated to empowering nursing students and schools by providing affordable, high-quality resources tailored to their licensure exam needs.
Founded in 2021, our company was built by a family medicine specialist with a tech background and a seasoned software engineer with 30 years of experience in the industry.
Together, they combined their expertise to create a platform that truly understands both the academic and technological challenges students face.
Our journey has not been without obstacles—one of our founders served over 120 days as a combat doctor during the October War in Gaza, presenting significant challenges. Yet, we emerged from this period stronger and more determined than ever to grow and enhance our product.
Contracts are being signed and traffic increases, and we have to scale… As we expand, we’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our team. This is an opportunity to make a real impact, work with a highly skilled, close-knit team, and help shape the future of nursing education.

Responsibilities and Requirements
🚀 Remote-first, but preference for candidates based in Israel (for timezone & occasional team meetups).
- Frontend: React.js, TypeScript, PWA, IndexedDB
- Backend: WordPress (PHP), Firebase, Cloudflare, REST APIs
- Other: Multi-layer caching, client-side storage
5+ years of experience in full-stack development.
- WordPress expertise is a must – deep understanding of its architecture, plugins, and optimizations.
- Strong experience in React.js & TypeScript.
- Develop and optimize client-side solutions for a fast-growing EdTech platform.
- Migrate workload from server-side to client-side storage (IndexedDB).
- Implement PWA features and multi-layer caching (Cloudflare).
- Maintain and extend our WordPress-based backend (including Firebase integration).
- Ongoing work: bug fixing, quick iterations, and working closely with customers & SMs to refine the product based on real-world feedback.
- Full ownership of your work – we have no QA, so you test your own code and ensure everything is rock-solid.
- Excellent English & communication – we’re a small team, and you’ll need to articulate your ideas, challenges, and needs clearly.
- Great character & team fit – you’ll be our 3rd developer, so we need someone who is easy to work with, transparent, and comfortable sharing thoughts & emotions.
- Proactive problem solver – if something is broken, you don’t wait for someone to tell you, you fix it and improve it.
